Background and Experience:
I have been working in training and development for over 25 years. This has included being Training Officer and Training Manager within large corporates and Training consultant, Managing Director, Director, Facilitator and Exectuive/Leadership coach in a number of smaller organisations.
I am also a volunteer Business Mentor and now train volunteer mentors for the Prince's Trust. I have specifically been providing external coaching and mentoring for around 13 years and training in-house coaches and mentors for even longer. Much of the coaching I do is as part of a wider leadership programme and I am usually involved in providing other elements too - i.e. training, facilitating group workshops, feedback on 360 reports and action learning.
Although I've never been asked for a coaching qualification by my clients, I felt it was time to consolidate all the learning and experience I had 'picked up' over the years and I'm happy to say that I am days a way from completing my ILM Level 7 Certificate in Leadership Coaching and Mentoring.
I have estimated that I have completed around 1000 hourse coaching witn around 150 people.
