Do you have responsibility for training volunteer mentors?  The Mentoring and Befriending Association is running an introductory Training Your Volunteer Mentors course on 7th April in London.  The course will help participants understand different learning styles for effective delivery of training and determine suitable activities/resources/evaluations for evaluating their own scheme.

Public sector employers are cutting back on learning and training, but coaching, eLearning and in-company development programmes are on the rise.  John McGurk presents his findings at the CIPD Conference on 7/8 April in London.

The 2011 Coaching and Earnings Report from Sherpa Coaching shows executive coaching is on the rise, and includes findings from their most recent survey, shows how much coaches make, how much clients pay, and how rewarding a coaching career is.  American focussed, but certainly interesting!
